Neil Logsdon collected the One Minute trophy with "The Bike Show" and also picked up the Best Story award on behalf of Jim Whalley with his "Late Again". Jim was, unfortunately, hospitalised at the time and we wish him a speedy recovery. Keith Widdup also helped to break David's stranglehold
Annual Prizewinners Show & Supper
Our thanks go to our friends at Cheadle & Gatley Film Makers for being such competent adjudicators for us.
The evening ended with an excellent 'hot pot' supper.
The Annual Prize-winners Show took place on April 5th, or more correctly called the “David Crossley Show", as David carried off the majority of the awards. The photo shows him ‘eyeing' all the trophies whilst waiting for the security van to help him get them safely home. Trust he doesn't expect his wife to do all the cleaning! His broad and meticulous film making skills really came to the fore this year. Well done, David.
Needless to say, he not only picked up the judges' votes for Film of the Year with "Natural Surroundings", but he also captured the audience's vote for Movie of the Year with another of his films - this time on "Urban River Restoration" covering the improvements made in our local river and its environment.
by winning the Best Miscellaneous film with his "Let's Get Crabbie" which explained the intricacies of dressing a crab.
