Using the new radio mic and lighting system

We were able to mock up a setting and try out the lights for various shoots.
The first reaction was most positive and we hope to get many years use out of our investments.

It proved a wise decision as the two members who have suitable lights will not be available when we shoot the Newsreel intro.
The lighting kit consists of two flat panel units and two adjustable spots.

Unfortunately, we had a last-minute change to our syllabus to contend with.
"Big Tank", a local video production company who were due to visit us had to cancel due to filming commitments.
So, we decided to bring forward the night where we were unveiling our new lighting system and radio microphone.
Both were purchased earlier in the year. The radio mic, a Rode radio mic, had already been used in anger, with remarkable success. It is a rather expensive piece of equipment but should prove well worth the outlay.
The lights were purchased, after much discussion in committee, so that we didn't need to rely on a few club members being able to loan their own systems.
