Eventually we used the club's laptop to project and all was well.
We had a capacity audience which included the Mayor & Mayoress of Pendle, the Mayor & Mayoress of Padiham and Lancashire County Cllr. Margaret Brindle.
The hour long production covered subjects from Children in Need to the presentation of the Legion D' Honour medal to 92 year old ex commando Harvey O'Hara.
After the viewing our Secretary explained to those present the problems that had been experienced by Carl and the amount of time it had taken to resolve the problem and he thanked Carl, on behalf of the club, for his hard work.
The evening was rounded off with a hot steak pie supper.

After twelve months hard work it was time to show the results of our labour to family, friends and local dignitaries.
However, as late as the 15th it was looking like we may have a major problem.
Our Chairman, Carl, handles the final assembly of the various video clips. He’s done this for many years without too much difficulty but this year was to be different.
He normally downloads the programme to a DVD with a capacity of 4.7 Gb.
For some reason, and we're still not sure why, this year’s film was taking up 59 Gb!!! Carl spent hours; no days even; to get the film sorted so that the night could go ahead.
